Photography

My photographs have become increasingly important to my practice. Formerly, I had reservations about using photographs, but now I thoroughly enjoy utilising them. I take photos to extend and develop ideas for new series. Collage and montage become good playful starting points. On occasions, I also use them as a foundation or literal support for my paintings (photopaintings). Below are some of the photographs I have used or that I feel have the potential to be inspirational for my future work.
